Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership exists to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation.  In Washington, DC it is headed by Mrs. Sonya McKay.  Simmonds Ballentine, LLC is helping HOBY plan, develop and administer trainings/workshops for "HOBY Ambassadors" (youth participants).  The youth are exciting and refreshing.  We encourage you to contact Mrs. McKay and join the effort to empower the next generation of DC Youth.


YMCA DC Youth & Government empowers youth to become ethical leaders and responsible citizens.  It is directed by Dr. Sarah Stiles, JD.  Simmonds Ballentine, LLC is helping DC Youth & Government to revamp its budget and develop strategies to increase its funding streams in order to enhance the participant experience.  Especially with the lack of civics programs in schools, this program is vital to preserving and advancing democracy.  Particularly in a City where the people have no vote, DC Youth & Government serves an important role in engaging youth in the democratic process.  We strongly encourage you to contact Dr. Stiles and do your part to cultivate the next generation of leaders for the City.
