Jabriel Ballentine is an entrepreneur with expertise in organizational development and communications.  He is our firm's Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Ballentine broke into the advocacy world as a journalist: publishing a social justice monthly. The publication of that newsletter led to a position on former Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney’s D.C. staff, where he ultimately served as her Special Assistant for Communications and Grassroots Liaison. Beyond directing the Congresswoman's communications, in this latter post Jabriel worked to connect community based organizations with Federal resources. He left this position in order to launch a consulting firm focused on helping marginalized/disfranchised governments, organizations and businesses represent their interests before all levels and branches of government.

In addition to overseeing the opperations of Simmonds Ballentine, LLC, Jabriel is also the author of Virgin Islands
Watch.
